Daily fiber therapy - the confessions of a knitting geek.
Thursday, March 25, 2004

Ah, yes. Rogue. You are a harsh mistress. I did many rows of your straight-knit stockinette back only to find that I made a large mistake. I ripped, knit again. I took up the needles to finish the front and, lo! I messed up once. Ripped. Messed up twice (after much strenous knitting). Ripped. And now I start on the third attempt. Shall it be a charm?

The neck cable is driving me batty. The left side of it looked okay, but the right side looked 'orrible, so I'm a-startin' over. I will accept nothing less than near-perfection.

In other news, I have started an Eros scarf. How do people regularily knit with this stuff?

Any Minneapolis/St. Paul area knitters: for the time being (i.e. until the buses stop striking and/or I get a car), we will be meeting at Acadia Cafe at Franklin and Nicollet. 7pm Tuesdays.
