Biweekly fiber therapy. The wedding is pretty much all I can talk about these days. To prove that no laurel-sitting is taking place, I submit the following: The cake has been ordered and paid for. Judge and location are booked. Matthew's wedding outfit has been found (sneak preview). We've cleared junk out of the house and have sold some items that aren't junk at a garage sale; the remainder (i.e., a whole two-car garage full of stuff) will be picked up tomorrow. The prototype dress is finished and the pieces have been cut out for my wedding dress. This time I accurately measured my hips before cutting out the skirt. My wedding shoes have been purchased (for $20 at TJ Maxx). I'm almsot done with the left front of the Lucky Clover Cardigan, and will be making the sleeves 3/4 length because they'll look nicer and take less time to complete and maybe - just maybe! - I can wear it at Stitches.
In other news: I won another contest. I'm so excited! I have not been to a yarn store, nor have I bought yarn, for over two months. It's been surprisingly easy, maybe because I've substituted fabric. Oops. It feels like we might get everything done in time. I cannot tell you how decadent it'll be to sit down and watch TV and knit without worrying about how many things need to be done by a certain deadline. You are all fantastic and I miss reading your blogs religiously!
