Droptik

A slubby, multi-dimensional yarn, garter stitch rows of alternating thicknesses, and dropped stitches add up to a very fun, fast, and funky scarf.

2 skeins Berroco Optik (shown in Rembrant Mix)
size 8 needles

Cast on 21 stitches (or enough for desired width).
Knit 10 rows (5 garter ridges).
On the next row: k1, *(yo twice, k1)*
Then: k1, *(drop wrapped stitches off of needle, k1)*
Knit 16 rows (8 garter ridges).
Repeat drop stitching.
Continue, alternating between knitting 10 rows and knitting 16.
Bind off.
